The release of the Nokia 6303 is a landmark occasion as, at last, Nokia are set to replace the stalwart that is the Nokia 6300, a handset that revolutionised the mobile world not in terms of any advanced technology or fancy gimmicks, but because of its ease-of-use, quality of build, reliability and practicality that made it one of the most popular handsets ever sold in the UK.The Nokia 6303 maintains the candybar styling of the 6300 but has more modern, smoother contours - Nokia recognising that a complete aesthetic overhaul is not the way forward in trying to match the 6300's unparalleled success. The camera has also been upgraded from 2 to 3.2 megapixels that now incorporates LED Flash and Autofocus.Nokia seem to have made the necessary upgrades in the 6303 to attract those who were enchanted by the 6300. Additional features now include an MP3 player, GPRS and EDGE for surfing the web, 64MB of internal memory and a 1GB MicroSD memory card for extra storage. If it ain't broke don't fix it seems to be Nokia's motto in the design of the 6303 and we're sure its sales will prove them right!
